So the Mets lost. After that amazing catch and double play in the 6th inning, I really though the game would be ours. But sadly, it wasn’t the case.

I, along with 57,000 other fans at Shea was heartbroken and pissed off. So many chances.

Bases filled–twice, yet nothing came of it. Beltran, a powerhouse, stands there looking at strike 3. No attempted swing, no foul tip, nothing.

“Next year we’re gonna be a better ballclub, for sure…”

Coulda gone to the World Series this year, though Mr. 14 million.
Why wasn’t Wagner–their closer put in? So many mistakes, bad calls and choices. Oh Well.

This is what it’s like to be a Met’s fan. Nail biting, praying, wishing, hoping, only to come away with a feeling of extreme disappointment. Maybe next season? Sick of hearing that.
