Speakerphone.

I think in every workplace–there should be a rule on the use of speakerphone.

I don’t understand why certain people find it necessary to have all their calls made public for the entire office. Nobody is impressed by you. Nobody cares. We are all trying to work here and really would be better off not knowing every detail of the plan you have proposed for a project or when your next meeting is. Find better ways to mask your insecurities and feelings of inadequacy please.

Unless you are on a call with somebody and need to include a second or third person–speakerphone should never be used. Have some tact.
