OK I admit it – I am obsessed with this song especially this version.
I have a love/hate relationship with the city I live in, but I notice when someone talks badly about it – I get very defensive and over-protective. Similar to the way people get with their lovers. While we can complain – don’t you dare say anything negative – you don’t know them…You don’t know New York. There’s so much here at your fingertips…and I believe it’s where the most genuine of people reside. Just travel outside the city- you’ll encounter people who are not only phony but seem just a little “off”. They can get away with that most places, just can’t pull that crap here. I like that.
