My name is Daniela Asaro and you’ve stumbled upon my personal blog.
Some “fun” facts:
- 29, female from NYC- grew up in Queens (Flushing)
- Now Living in Williamsburg Brooklyn
- Producer at Carrot Creative – a digital and social media agency in DUMBO (SWEET!!)
- Degree in Journalism from Fordham University; Writing is a passion
- I almost went to Quinnipiac but went online to find people from both schools to ask their opinions – and happened to meet a really sweet funny guy who ended up being my best friend at Fordham. He later married my roommate – so everything happens for a reason!
- Self-deprecating and likes to make others laugh
- Fav cereal – corn flakes with cheerios sprinkled on top combo
- First language was Italian and it took years to get rid of the strange accent I had
- Takes forever to read any issue of a magazine because I stop to research whatever sparks my interest (which is usually a lot)
- Competitive and loves playing games – video, board, whatever. I can turn anything into a challenge
- Always with my bicycle and will only take the subway if it’s raining or I happen to have the flu
- At one point in time I was over 120lbs heavier than I am today…YOWZA!
- I never actually say words like “yowza”, “woot”, “wahoo”, “yipee” outloud, yet I type them
- Would drink beer over wine any day. Favs of the moment (winter ’10): Sixpoint Brownstone, Bell’s Milk Stout, Goose Island Mild Winter
- Just put all this in bullet format because I couldn’t take all the “I’s” written before…
Butttt…with that said:
I hope to accomplish a few things with this blog. Make you either laugh, think, or discover a new favorite tune. If I am able to do all three, then awesome ;)

Hi there i love writing too… But in spanish i’m Puertorican, i really can’t write in english but in spanish i’m really good. My family is from Long Island NY. I read all of your blogs there exelent with a light sarcasm in everyone of them but i’m sarcastic too, in mine “lol”. I hope you have the greatest day tomorrow, as you look in every face you can encounter, during the 24hrs of it. It’s really nice looking at somebodys writing and having or may i say thinking that thats the feeling that one person had in that time . bye daniela ???

first off i want to thank you for hank’s letter to karen. like yourself i love spell check. there was no way i could write fast enough to write down what he was reading. i did try. i also read your bio on yourself. as well as your feelings on Love | Marriage | Prop 8 | Religion. you are old enough to know poltic’s are about votes and whatever gets them. whatever you do in your personal life should never be decide by anyone else. EVER. but we live in amercia and this is the way it will always be. good luck with your blog and your life………….

Yup, this rare queens girl has some skills when it comes to giving you the down to earth simplistic info and overview of her thoughts..better yet she doesnt just say oh i heard this, she researches it first, experiences it herself, reads it if readable, does it if doable, etc.. shes the man! =]

I find myself returning here often. I appear to be fixed on the way you express your thoughts. This blog is like a tiny unique star waaay in the distance of the universe. Part of me wishes it would be updated more, but its cool the way it is as long as it keeps shining.
